Today on the Reschexpert blog we wanted to give you a flash briefing of news about the Rescheck software Rescheck Web. Rescheck.info and the Reschexpert blog is not the creator or maintainer of the Rescheck Software as it was developed and owned by the Department of Energy and the Northwest Laboratory. We are strictly a small time Rescheck service provider designed to help builders, architects, engineers, building department, building inspectors, and homeowners create Reschecks for building permits. We also have a strong following of Do It Yourself Rescheck creators and when we see something on the Rescheck Web or Rescheck Desktop software that we find interesting we like to share it free of charge here, on the Reschexpert blog.
This morning when logging in to Rescheck Web we noticed a red ribbon at the top of the screen. The screen mentions two upcoming maintenance days for the Rescheck Web software and mentions that their may be outages of Rescheck Software. This is the exact message on the website once logged in to Rescheck Web:
“Please note that we will perform system maintenance for REScheck-Web from June 25th to June 26th. Application presence maybe impacted.”
What this means for the average Rescheck Web user is that they should be prepared at midnight on June 24th with the newest copy of Rescheck Desktop so they can create their Rescheck using an alternate software. There will be some codes missing from Rescheck Desktop but now that IECC 2018 and IECC 2021 are included in the new software the impact should be minimal. So go ahead and upgrade your Rescheck Desktop software today so that you can be ready for the upcoming maintenance.
