Thanks for reading the Reschexpert blog. We realize that you may be bored out of your mind and that is probably why you wound up on the Reschexpert blog. The ongoing Covid pandemic is affecting all aspects of American life including your online blog reading habits. That is why we want to keep you up to date on all the latest industry news regarding home energy efficiency. We just received breaking news from the Department of Energy that they are cancelling their upcoming National Energy Codes Conference in Chicago this spring. More info below.
The Department of Energy has just announced that the National Codes Conference is postponed. They go on to say that they will favor rescheduling something in person as opposed to a virtual style replacement. This is mainly because of the interactive nature of the event.
The event was originally scheduled for May 11-13 in Chicago but because of CDC guidelines about groups of 50 or more they have chosen to cancel. As our nation works through these tough times we have to applaud the brave decision of the Department of Energy in protecting all concerned parties.
They also go on to say that the event could be rescheduled later in 2020 so it might be a great opportunity for DIY Rescheck and Comcheck creators to get out of the house after the cabin fever of shelter in place has worn off.
We here at the Reschexpert blog will keep you up to date on anything related to green homes, energy efficiency, and the ever changing landscape of the US economy and construction industry.
