Today on the Reschexpert blog we want to discuss our findings from the latest Rescheck update.  The general look of a Rescheck report from Rescheck Web has changed quite significantly in the latest update so we wanted to discuss it with you.

We first noticed this major change to the cover page of a Rescheck report at the initial stages of the last Rescheck Web update, in this blog post:  Rescheck Web Maintenance Schedule

Once you enter all your data into Rescheck it now gives you a section right underneath the permit number that says:

All Electric:  true or false

Is Renewable:  true or false

Has Battery: true or false

Has Heat Pump: true or false

Electric Ready: true or false

Solar Ready: true or false

Responsive Water Heating: true or false

3 Best Rescheck Strategies

I want to discuss each of the items and shed some light on what they mean and where they can be updated within Rescheck Web.  On the right hand side of the Rescheck Web Project Screen you will see a section labeled Features.  These items appear under there.

All Electric:  true or false  This means all major appliances are electric appliances

Is Renewable:  true or false This means the home uses a certain percentage of renewable energy

Has Battery: true or false  This means the home has a battery for storing spare energy

Has Heat Pump: true or false  This means the home uses a heat pump for the conditioning of the structure

Electric Ready: true or false  This means the home was built to accommodate all major electric appliances

Solar Ready: true or false This means the home is ready to create solar energy equal to a certain percentage of the home’s daily needs

Responsive Water Heating: true or false  The home uses an on demand water heater or tankless system

Has Charger: true or false  The home has a dedicated charger for electric vehicle

Each of these items are new on the coverpage of a Rescheck report and will probably result in quite a few questions from building officials.  Overall most of these item stem from the Inflation Reduction Act and have been carried over into Rescheck reporting.  Each of these items will now appear on the cover page of each Rescheck.
